Sneezing, Coughing, or Otherwise Worrying about Loud Noises
  Chris Johnson

How about we intuit each step before we take it,
like, just wriggle our toes in our shoes and soothe our feet into it

or slip right into this tremendous battlement, like
when I went to England you and almost laid stones to keep me from getting back in.

I never meant to be this absurdly particular,
sniffling, scoffing, or otherwise resounding introversion.

Is it something along the lines of the outside beating our insides?
How about we say the mention of standing makes us tired, then just sit.

I am here now, and my socks have holes in the heels, and,
lying down, we might never know we built this place ourselves.
