Roar and Trickle
  Richard Scarsbrook

roaring roll of thunder
tumbling bright through pensive clouds

crisp white linen sacrificed
to rolling writhing love

the rumbling echo swallows
those mutual ritual cries

the universe collapses into
a slick singularity

gasp in recognition
and then it's lost, then it is gone

the patter of raindrops
a flutter of curtains

the water pools
and trickles down
